Why so many tall buildings?

What is it about our love affair with tall buildings?
Can you remember back when the City Hall clock tower was the tallest building in Brisbane’s cbd?
These days it’s hard to even find the Brisbane City hall in our city skyline.
Like it or not tall buildings are part and parcel of a growing city and Brisbane is not immune to it.
