Helen Deegan appointed new Director of Planning at Urbis
Urbis is pleased to welcome Helen Deegan as the new Director of Planning based in the company’s Sydney office.
Helen is no stranger to the Urbis team, having initially worked as the first employee in Urbis’ Sydney office in the mid-nineties.
Since then, Helen has worked for a number of well-known private developers, in government planning and private consultancy. Her varied experience is a significant asset to Urbis as she brings a unique insight into the workings of government and extensive knowledge of business and development needs and expectations.
Helen is a town planner with vast experience in development management as well strategic and urban planning. She has worked specifically in development management in the residential, retail and entertainment sectors for business such as Lend Lease, AMP Capital Investors and Landcom.
Capable of translating complex and multifaceted development and land use problems into workable solutions, Helen’s focus is on providing relevant strategic advice to secure the best planning and property development outcomes for her clients.
Helen’s diversity of experiences both within and outside the planning consultancy business brings a new and challenging perspective to Urbis, its projects and clients.
