The Overland Gardens site is located in south eastern corner of the ‘Green Square Urban Renewal Area’ in the City of Sydney LGA (formerly South Sydney). Given the physical attributes of the site and its positioning within the local context, the site is well suited for medium to high density mixed use development.
In association with the project architects, PTW Architects, Urbis recently submitted a Stage 2 Development Application seeking development consent for the construction and use of ‘Building D’ comprising 111 residential units, 114 car parking spaces (and 1 driveway crossings) and associated landscape works.
The proposal has been designed in a sustainable manner to reconcile various competing design considerations and provides a high quality built form outcome that integrates with the surrounding environment. It is currently being assessed by the City of Sydney Council.
