Royal North Shore Hospital Clinical Services Building 

Urbis is key advisor on urban planning matters for the $75m new Clinical Services Building addition to the existing Acute Services Building project. Urbis led the consultation with the consent authority and outlined the risks of the approval process and ensured each issue was appropriately addressed in the timeframe.

Urbis assisted Health Infrastructure in obtaining an amendment to the existing Project Approval for the new $700m Acute Services Hospital Building at Royal North Shore in Sydney to accommodate a $75m Clinical Services Building. Urbis assisted in gaining development consent for the project.

The process involved consideration and balancing of a wide range of internal and external stakeholder interests and delivery of an approval within a tight timeframe. Urbis led the consultation with the consent authority and key referral agencies and assisted Health Infrastructure in outlining the risks of the approval process and ensured each issue was appropriately addressed in the timeframe.
