Urbis (Planning & Heritage) provided a fast tracked statutory planning and heritage assessment services to more than 40 schools sites for Abigroup as part of the Federal Government’s Building the Education Revolution (BER) Stimulus Package. Our work for Abigroup involved:
• Statutory planning and heritage advice.
• Review of Environmental Factors for projects that could be carried out as ‘development without consent’ under the State Environmental Planning Policy (Infrastructure) 2007.
• Planning Assessment Reports for projects that required approval under the NSW Nation Building and Jobs Plan Act 2009.
• Heritage Impact Statements for heritage school sites.
• Consultation with Local Government and community.
• Working with different Government Departments
