Urbis was engaged by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale to prepare a suite of planning instruments to balance the elements of design control with those of public intervention to ensure the achievement of a functional and vibrant Town Centre. Urbis produced a local structure plan along with supporting documents, being design guidelines, town centre strategy and detailed area plans for the Shire.
Urbis liaised with key stakeholders to create a clear and endorsed position for the Town Centre and direct the nature of public works, as well as standards applied to future public lands to be transferred through the development or subdivision process.
