Simon Rumbold 

Simon is a highly experienced advisor and analyst who has spent most of his 30 year career in the field of property economics and research. In addition to his Australian credentials, he also spent two years in the UK, specialising in the shopping centre market. Simon is National Director of the firm’s Property Economics and Research Division.

Simon has wide-ranging experience and skills covering strategic and economic reviews, market analysis and property research. He has particular expertise in forecasting and strategic reviews of major shopping centres, city centres, city centre projects and new market trends. He is also experienced in the commercial market trends sectors, demographic trends and financial analysis.

He has appeared as an expert witness in inquiries and legal cases in Australia and the UK relating to planning and development. He has also presented papers to major conferences in Australia and the UK.

Simon has a deep understanding of property projects, the successes and failures, how to spot opportunities and avoid pitfalls. He has steered research for groups such as Westfield, AMP and Multiplex over many years.
