The Urbis Retail Averages 2009 provide a comprehensive set of indicators and benchmarks.
These cover the composition, performance and occupancy costs of Australian Shopping Centres for the 2008/09 financial year --- including the performance and occupancy costs for 38 categories of specialty stores in each centre type.
Four reports will be released shortly:
1. Regional Centres contains benchmarks for All Regional Centres, Top 10 Regional Centres, and Other Regional Centres. Available now.
2. Sub-Regional Centres contains benchmarks for All DDS-based Centres, Double DDS-based Centres, and Single DDS-based Centres. Available now.
3. Supermarket Centres contains the benchmarks for All Supermarket Centres, Double Supermarket Centres, Single Supermarket Centres, Metropolitan Based Supermarket Centres and Non-Metropolitan Based Supermarket Centres. Available November 2009.
4. CBD Centres contains benchmarks for All Australian CBD Centres, CBD Major Centres, CBD Specialty Centres and Sydney CBD Centres. Available November 2009.

The 2009 survey was again conducted in close co-operation with members of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia. The results have been compiled under the industry standards for Sales Reporting. Notably, we continue our role as independent analysts in producing this annual survey.
