This policy describes the way that UrbisJHD collects, holds and discloses information relating to or received from clients. UrbisJHD is subject to the Privacy Act and the National Privacy Principles and is committed to acting responsibly with business, client and individuals information.
Protecting confidential information is fundamental to our relationship with our clients and to our business. All information received in connection with a client matter is treated with confidentiality. We will not disclose that information except in accordance with our professional obligations, as authorised by the client, required by law or as contemplated by this policy.

During the course of carrying out our day to day business activities, we may collect client data and information relating to clients’ current business or future strategies and activities.

- Manage our relationships with our clients
- Provide our clients with information about market developments, events or other products or services that may interest you or them

- Within UrbisJHD

Information Security
We take practical steps to protect all information which we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We take reasonable steps to hold information securely in electronic or physical form. We store information in access controlled premises or in electronic databases requiring logins and passwords. All Directors and staff with access to confidential information are subject to confidentiality obligations which are clearly outlined in individual employment agreements.
Access and Correction
A client may request access at any time to personal information we hold about them. We may charge a fee where access is provided. We may refuse to provide access if the National Privacy Principles allows us to do so.
